Snow and the Grand Race/ Squiggle Story

Lily is so happy. Today she got a pony and a dog. She was so happy she nearly wet herself. Her horse was a pure bred white mare. Her name was Snow. Her dog was a golden labrador. His name was Picolla. Wait, I just said his. Bah. It's a her. Anyways, Pixie always rode horseback with Lily. On the newspaper, there was an ad to enter a horseback competition. Did I mention that the dog has to ride the horse!!! The owner (human) has to be at the finish line cheering the horse to giddy up. Of course Lily entered. They spent the rest of the month training. Pixie was sooooooooooo good.  At the day of the race......., well that was exciting. Izzy put on her riding clothes and boots then took out her riding crop. Then she put her riding crop away and remembered that she wasn't riding. She changed into jeans and a loose top. She got too the stables and put on Snow's saddle.She got Pixie a cowboy hat and an America cape. The america cape was pretty much just a big America flag. They rode to the arena. She got of Snow and led her to the starting line. Then Snow was led to the hut and they registered her. Then she got brought back too the starting line. Lily got a bit nervous. The race/judge sort of person took out his gun and shot into the air. The race had begun. Most of the horses reared back but three of them flew forward. Snow, a horse called Perra and a stallion called Nunu. Nunu, half way through dropped  his dog ,Chocky, of his back. He stopped. The other to horses kept overtaking each other. They ran to the finish line. Perra came slightly before. Perra was first. Snow came second and Nunu came third. Snow was sad. Then a judge came up to her,Lily and Pixie. "You are first. Perra was a robot horse with a robot dog super glued onto her back. You have won" he said while putting three gold medals on them. At the end of the race they went home.She put Snow in the stalls. The next morning she came out with a foal.They had a party to celebrate the foal. They never figured out who the father was.

The Mysterious Principal

It was a normal day at Meadowbank Primary, but nothing in the Principal's office. Mr. Ayson was writing some reports when an alien came through the sunroof! The alien was bright green, had a big red eye, a brown nose and a huge mouth.  It sort of looked like a green ghost with a big red eye.

Mr. Ayson was so scared that he jumped under his table. As the alien touched the floor it turned into a beautiful, young woman. The woman wore a long black dress. She had blonde hair and blue eyes. "Why did I even put a sunroof there" Mr.Ayson said annoyed. Suddenly, ropes shot out of nowhere. They tied up Mr.Ayson and covered his mouth with a cloth. Mr. Ayes on was trapped.

The next day there was an assembly. Ms. Smith (the new principal) gave a long speech in a weird language. The only part of the speech that Meadowbank Primary understood was, "Ms.Smith". She was very strange. She talked in a different language and instead of walking she hovered. 

Emily, Ishani, Madisson and Izzy, thought this principal was very strange. Nobody could understand what she was saying. Nobody could hover like her around the school. The four of them knew that Mr.Ayson ( The old principal ) was still in the school. They didn't see his red car drive out and he was at school in the morningThe girls decided they would go and find him.

At lunch, the girls went to the principals office. They looked and looked. Emily looked in the cupboard, Izzy looked under the staircase, Maddison looked over the shelf and Ishani looked at the back of the cupboard. They heard a mumble. It seemed to come from under the table.They went and saw Mr.Ayson under the table. He could barely breathe. They quickly untied the ropes. Then they heard a sound of footsteps.

Ms.Smith came in. She saw Emily, Ishani, Maddison and Izzy and got flames in her eyes.Her voice seemed much further away as she said, "YOU".There were lasersand saws but for Emily, Ishani, Izzy and Maddison : pencils. After quite a few minutes of lasers, saws and pencils all four of them took their pencils and stabbed Ms.Smith. The alien disintegrated to dust.

Mr.Ayson thanked Ishani,Maddison,Izzy and Emily and then gave them a certificate each. All was back to normal. Some people never heard about it and the tale was never told again.

Why I am awesome!!!!!!

Hi, my name is Ishani and today I am going to tell you what makes me the awesome person I am. These are my three main qualities: I am good with animals, I am very responsible and I am a good friend. I think that you will like this piece.

Firstly, I am great with animals. The reason I am saying this is because when I say something to my dog I feel she understands me. Also, I know when my dog is feeling sad. I can see, feel and hear it. My dog feels sad when my mom goes to work.When I am sad only my dog can cheer me up.

Secondly, I am responsible. I have never given in my homework late. When I am working I never joke around, make silly faces and laugh. I am never late for anything. I am also responsible because I remember to give my dog food.

Last but not least, I am very friendly. When I am out on the playground, I get very silly but I don't shout at anyone. I also laugh alot and am very funny. I am friendly because I don't get angry about silly things.

These are the reasons that I am my awesome self. I hope that you enjoyed my explanation. Adios Amigos.

Shifting!

On October the first, Ishani and her family flew into Auckland. Her family is made of her sister Taarini, her mom Gayatri and her dad Ajit.

It all started when Gayatri found a job in Auckland. She had to go there for a few interviews. The company was called Talent International.  Then one day the visas came for the whole family.

The family couldn’t go to Auckland directly and things that they had to sell were still left. So Ajit volunteered to stay back until the things had sold off. Gayatri wanted to see her parents in India before she went to the other side of the world to Auckland. So Gayatri, Ishani and Taarini flew to India; Gayatri enjoyed time with her parents while Ishani and Taarini had fun with their 5 year old cousin, Ania and their 10 year old cousin Aditia.

A week later the family flew into Auckland. They moved into a house on Grand Road in Remuera and are still living there. The girls have now started school and are very happy.
